We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to continue our growth in the Solid Waste industry in our Medford, New Jersey. Senior Project Engineers manage both clients and projects and help develop junior staff. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the development of technical reports and engineering design documents. Project management involves delegating work, tracking project financials, and providing technical document reviews. Some remote (at-home) work flexibility is possible in this position.

You will help our clients address their environmental challenges, which may include:
Permitting, design, and construction
Municipal solid waste landfills
Landfill gas and biogas
Transfer Stations
Sustainable materials management
Recycling
Waste minimization studies
Organics management
Composting
Your project management responsibilities will include:
Serving as the primary lead and point of contact for projects
Leading permitting and regulatory agency coordination efforts
Developing strategies to solve technical challenges
Leading, mentoring, and delegating to junior staff to advance their knowledge and career path.
Developing or reviewing designs, drawings, calculations, and permit documents for final submittal to the client or applicable agencies
You will contribute to our growth by:
Leading or having an active role in client prospecting and development
Drafting and reviewing proposals and associated cost estimates
Helping us grow the number and value of projects we do for existing customers
Actively attending technical symposia or trade shows, presenting on technical topics, and being involved in professional associations and committees
Delegating work and reviewing work product for accuracy and quality
Bachelor's or Masters of Science Degree in an environmental, civil, mechanical or chemical engineering field required
Registration as a Professional Engineer
8+ years of related work experience required, with 4+ years in consulting or industry required
Willingness to participate in business development in the NJ/Eastern PA area market required
Experience managing project financials
Knowledge of applicable regulatory agencies, specifically NJDEP and PADEP for solid waste and air
Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required
