The Fleet and Asset Specialist will be the point person for all insurance claims for the business unit. This individual will be expected to coordinate and facilitate assigned operational activities, work directly with team members and other SCS staff and provide support as requested. This role can be performed remotely from within CA or hybrid in another CA SCS office. 

• Oversee and manage all auto and property insurance claims for the Business Unit:
  • Manage and update file folders regarding any changes or updates to claim.
  • Follow-up with vendors on work progress and keep required individuals apprised of progress.
  • Contact vendor to pay deductible when required.
  • Request W9 from vendor, create an AP batch and check request.
  • Work with the subrogation department at insurance carrier to recover deductible from at fault parties.
  • Work closely with all required parties to facilitate the work until repairs are complete.
  • Create and maintain record-keeping files regarding all claims.
  • Notify appropriate parties when an incident has occurred.
• Assist with maintenance approvals for vehicles, trailers, ATV & UTV’s.
• Assist in rental approvals and extensions as it relates to claims.
• Assist in ordering vehicles and communicate with offices, dealerships, upfits companies and employees as needed.
• Assist in asset purchases as needed.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• California Department of Insurance License is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience such as administrative support, fleet support, insurance, and/or experience purchasing assets required.

 

USD $28.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr.
