What we are looking for

The Marketing Coordinator will support the business development needs of their assigned Business Unit. The individual will coordinate, write, edit, and produce qualification statements, proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials. The Marketing Coordinator will also support the marketing team with marketing research, collection, and input of marketing and sales data into accounting database. At this level, the Marketing Coordinator should begin exercising more independent judgement and be able to complete tasks with less direction from the Marketing Manager or other delegated Project Lead. This position will be based out of our Long Beach office.

How you can make an impact

  • Support the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of all marketing and business development strategies.
  • Ensure all projects are designed and delivered with the purpose of meeting the Client’s business objectives.
  • Coordinate, write, edit, and prepare items such as statements of qualifications (SOQ) proposals, press releases, staff resumes, project descriptions, and edit and support development of management and technical approach plans.
  • Develop proposal/project outlines and compliance documents and collaborate with management, technical personnel, and graphic designers to support marketing activities.
  • Position may involve some PR activities, including writing press releases, organizing special events and/or conferences, and developing & writing submissions to engineering award competitions, and conducting market research and competitor analysis to support sales efforts.
  • Support the Business Unit as needed by preparing for meetings and conference calls.
  • Maintain databases and internal content files such as images, resumes, tables, client evaluations, etc.
  • Collect and input marketing and sales data into computerized company tracking system—Vision—on a regular basis.
  • Provide recommendations and plans to contribute to the optimization of marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience required, preferably with an engineering, architecture, or construction firm.
  • 1 year of professional writing experience required; preferably for an engineering, architectural, or construction firm.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Pay Range

USD $65,000.00 - USD $70,304.00 /Yr.
